The Swim Wales National Conference 2024 will take place at Venue Cymru, Llandudno on Saturday 28th September 2024!
This year, we are inviting our partners as well as Management Committee members and Coaches from our affiliated clubs to come together on one day to interact and collaborate.
Taking place during National Inclusion Week, the day will include external speakers, interactive workshops, drop-in sessions, pop-up information stalls and much, much more to promote inclusivity and sustainability in aquatics in Wales!

Aims and Themes
The Swim Wales National Conference 2024 has three key aims, supporting the key themes of promoting inclusive provision and sustainable development of clubs and facilities:
- Promote inclusive best practices to increase awareness and enable partners and clubs to offer inclusive aquatic provision.
- Signpost sustainable initiatives and practices to encourage membership and participation growth across the board to protect and strengthen the future of Welsh aquatics.
- Upskill volunteers and staff in key areas to allow them to deliver aquatics in a sustainable and inclusive way.
Audiences
Based on feedback and consultation, and to encourage and facilitate collaboration, interaction and innovation, Swim Wales are excited to invite a range of stakeholders to the one-day conference.
We will have multiple sessions running simultaneously throughout the day, so there will be specific, relevant content for our Partners and Clubs, but there will also be larger sessions that will promote key messages as well as opportunities to network with people from different backgrounds with different experiences and expertise.
Much of the content has been planned with Facility Operators, Local Authority contacts, Club Management Committee members and club Coaches in mind, but Teachers, Volunteers, Partners and anyone else involved in the provision of aquatics in Wales is welcome to come along!
