Equality
Equality
Swim Wales is fully committed to the principles and practice of equality of opportunity for all. We consider the aquatic disciplines to provide opportunities in sport for all. They can and should be made accessible to everyone and to the greatest possible extent.
To support and supplement its objectives in this area, Swim Wales is working to achieve the Equality Standards for Sport, established by the Sports Councils as a benchmark for sports governing bodies to which they provide funding.
Swim Wales is already the proud holder of the Foundation and Preliminary and Standards for Equality and is currently working towards obtaining the Intermediate Standard.
For further information about the Standards, please visit their website or download the Equality Standards for Sport: Guidance for Sport Organisations document here.
